At Midwest Recovery Center, we believe that healing doesn’t stop at discharge—it evolves. Our Alumni Program is here to help you stay connected, inspired, and supported long after your time in treatment.
Whether you’re newly sober or years into recovery, staying involved can make all the difference. That’s why we offer more than just a place to check in—we offer a community to grow with. Through regular events, peer-led groups, and continued access to trusted staff and resources, you’ll have what you need to stay grounded and keep moving forward.
This isn’t just an afterthought. It’s a vital part of lasting recovery—and it’s always here for you.

How do alumni programs work? While you might have support outside of the addiction treatment center from family and friends, they might not have experienced addiction themselves. Though they want to be supportive, they will not always understand your struggles. However, those who are in recovery with you know the temptations you face and the difficulties of daily life. When you’re connected to our alumni program, you can reach out to those peers for help.
You’ll even be a source of support for others through our alumni program. Many of our alumni report that the opportunity to not only receive support but also give it is a way that they find purpose. You can help your own sobriety by listening to others as they go through difficult times and supporting those who need it most.
